    Because of the way the configure settings are held in 1.3.9 - they are inherently monolingual. It looks like you've installed a Chinese language pack that has rewritten them into Simplified Chinese.

    If you want to work in English. You'd need to find the equivalent section of the Zen Cart installation SQL and write them back to English.
