Best payment module to use?

I have 2 Zen Cart stores both using Paypal. After a while with no problems I had the newer store account limited for withdrawals to bank. So having jumped through various Paypal hoops without resolving the problem yet I googled the problem. Now I'm really worried! It appears that Paypal can just keep your money for as long as they like. Although that might not happen to me I am looking at alternatives. There are a lot of Paypal clones out there but I'm thinking of simply using my banks (Barclays) merchant facility. Thing is I don't know if I can integrate it into my site with my limited skills. So has anyone else tried and succeeded with this?

Why use 2 separate PayPal for 2 stores when you can use one account for both stores?

My opinion is that there is no real alternative to PayPal unless you already have a physical store using a bank merchant facility. Any bank merchant account, including Barclay's, will cost you far more in bank charges and transaction fees than PayPal will.

Nochex is really good.

You can easily configure different id's for 1 Nochex account so each website has its own unique payment page unlike paypal and its dead simple to set up

Beware of misinformation such as that statement.
You can indeed easily brand your multiple stores to have different appearances within PayPal.
