    Default Lion Upgrade

I updated to Lion on my personal Mac yesterday. I have had Zen running on the built in Apache server. Now Zen can't connect to the database. Best way to fix this? Thank you.

Zen Cart simply uses whatever database information you supply to it.

If your O/S upgrade has disabled or removed database functionality, or has prevented the database from starting for you (automatically or not), you'll need to address that separately. It's not really a Zen Cart question.

You need to get MySQL from the MySQL site. Here are some suggestions on installing it from StackOverflow:

MAMP works on Lion, and installs the whole thing in one nice setup.

I wound up getting MAMP PRO as well. There was some screwiness with getting the system going with the built-in stuff.
