problems with thunderbird 5.0 and Mercury on localhost

Hi:
I have istalled tha las t version of XAMPP.
According to the book I started Mercury. I created e-mails account.
Then I installed the last Thunderbird version (5.0) and when I tried to enter the information of each one of my created e-mail accounts I got this message:
Warning
Incoming setting: mailmart.com does not use encryption
Technical details
Outgoing setting: mail.mart.com does not use encryption
Insecure mail server
Thunderbird can allow you to get to your email using the providing configuration.
However you should contact your administrator or e-mail provider regarding the improper configuration

Any ideas on what is going on?

Hi Marlake,
I was looking for an explaination of why my Mercury mail installation, failed to save user details entered. I typed in [email protected], Claud Blanc and Claud for my password. the software failed to save the details. I had installed XAMPP as a localhost. This has happened to me on 2 occassions once installing zc v1.37 and now zc1.51. Did you ever solve this problem? Keith Lewis
