New categories push side box into header - pure black template

Hi, can anyone help with 2 issues. First one is when i add a category it pushes the sideboxes into the header area and i cannot work out how to stop it happening.

Second problem is that at the top of the page header, just very faintly, is the categories showing through on the header.

Anyone please help as this has brought me to a standstill.

ps box layout is fine without any categories added.

looks like the table you are using to show search, cart, language and currency is not inside header div. categories div are spose to start after header but table is making a mess

the categories showing there is tab which can be disbabled in admin site configuration>>layout settings>>categories-tabs menu on/off

You have a fixed height for #logoWrapper which encloses all header elements, and they don't all fit in that height. The #contentMainWrapper follows the specified height in deciding where to start.

Hi, so does that mean there is no way of fixing the header issue?

No, it means that you need to either set a larger height for logoWrapper, or do not set a height at all and let its contents determine the height.
