    Default Problems with signup - validation - javascript popup not working in 1.3.8 site?

    Hi
    Ive got 2 carts. One is 1.3.8a and one is 1.3.9h

    On the 1.3.8a cart when someone is SIGNING UP does not fill out their details corectly, for example enters the passwords incorrectly the second time they come to an error message (not a pop up)
    And they have to enter ALL their details again.

    So their first name, last name etc all has to be re-entered just because they put password in wrong.

    Its terrible.

    On my 1.3.9h they get like a validation pop-up which tells them they entered it incorrectly but it doesnt require them to enter all their details again.

    So im confused. Is there some setting i have somehow turned off that stops that popup? Or is this an improvement with the latest zen cart?

    If that is the case is there an add on for 1.3.8a to get this pop up validation function

    Hi
    I have 2 carts one is 1.3.8a and one is 1.3.9h

    On the 1.3.8a cart when customer is signing up entering their name etc.. if they make a mistake like when they enter the password incorrectly the second time, or dont put enough characters in the address etc then they get a message which says (for the password) exactly The Password Confirmation must match your Password.

    All the customers info is then reset to nothing and they must re-enter it ALL!

    With the 1.3.9h cart they get a much better POP UP which says

    Errors have occurred during the processing of your form.

    Please make the following corrections:

    * Is your birth date correct? Our system requires the date in this format: MM/DD/YYYY (eg 05/21/1970)
    * Is your email address correct? It should contain at least 6 characters. Please try again.
    * The Password Confirmation must match your Password.

    And gives them the chance to correct their mistake without having to re-enter EVERYTHING


    Please can someone advice is this something i have set up incorectly in the 1.3.8a cart? Or is it just something that was improved in the latest version?

    Is there away to get this pop up functionality for the 1.3.8a cart?

    You really need to upgrade the older cart to the new version as it is vulnerable to some security and hacking problems.
