Edit category meta tags page doesn't fully load - v1.3.8

I'm trying to add/edit meta data for categories and the page won't load. I see the admin main nav, the title Categories / Products - Top and the search/go to top. The code ends after displaying a blank table...

Can edit meta data for products. I'm running Zen Cart v1.3.8a/v1.3.8.

Tracking it down...

Forcing code to show php errors I see:
Fatal error: Class 'FCKeditor' not found in /home/hsphere/local/home/posters/mysite.ca/docs/admin/categories.php on line 858

But it can find FCKeditor for all other cases (ie new_category, edit_category).

And a hacked enough solution: don't need fckeditor for meta data anyway. Will just use the textarea. Have commented out all the fckeditor code for case 'edit_category_meta_tags'.

It's weird, though, right?

Those problems don't exist in the latest version, v1.3.9h.
Nor in the upcoming v1.5.0.
