Attributes Controller / Attributes Qty Price Discount

The only Product I found with Attributes appears to have it Quantity box turned off on the Product ...

Check the setting on the:
Products Quantity Box Shows: No, Do not show Quantity Box

You will see that setting if you edit the Product ...

I turned off the box, but I'll turn it on for you so you can see it doesn't apply to the replacement filter Attribute

Yes, when I entered the quantity discounts earlier, I updated it using the wrong update button, there are more than one ion the page. Now that I've properly included the discounts, there still is no dedicated qty box for the attribute. So, I'm believing that each product info page can contain only 1 qty box dedicated to the main product on that page, so when additional attribute products are added to the same product info page, it can't provide an additional qty box.

For instance:

SAME PRODUCT INFO PAGE
Main Product: Water Pitcher w/Filter - info - price & qty box
Attribute product: Replacement Cartridge - price - no qty box

In the above example, the replacement cartridge can't show it's own quantity box.

I use 1.3.9h clean install as far as I know and I have no idea why you're getting any errors and I don't. What are they, may I ask?

There isn't a special quantity box for the Attributes ... there is a quantity box for the Products ...

If you use the on the Attributes the
Attributes Qty Price Discount:

then it will create a link to view the Discounts available for that Attribute or any other Attribute for the Product ...

The Discounts are applied when the Product is added to the Cart ...

Now I'm wondering if I can eliminate all attribute choices, descriptions and links it places on the product info page, such as:

Please Choose:
Replacement Filter CartridgeModel: CQE-RC-04047 ( +$15.50 )
Quantity Discounts Available

and still have the checkout conform to the quantity discounts as defined in attributes. Is this possible ??

You could exclude the display of the Discounts but then you exclude the encouragement to buy more for the discount ...

If there is only the one Attribute, why not just use the Discount Quantities on the Product itself and not use Attributes?

the reason i wish to hide the attribute display is i want to customize the appearance.

What is this "Discount Quantities" and how do i get at it?
