Default Multiple Admin Folders after upgrade?

Sorry to be a bother and yes I did to a search. I know the forums are getting pounded with all the updates going on and I would think my questions have been asked before...

After update I now have a ‘zc_admin’ and a ‘zcadmin’ folder. I want to rename (for security purposes) per the recommendation. They both are current as far as information, site hits, and look to be attached to the DB properly. The original admin folder has my logo, color theme, and all my add-in’s there that seems to be working with the exception of the tools/Admin Settings and tools/email welcome (so far).

It looks as if image handler, super orders, and a few sales reports modules work in the ‘old’ admin but don’t show in the new.
What’s the best way to handle this with minimal effort trying to keep the ‘old’ stuff?

It is ok to continue with my origional admin folder and just move the two missing .php files over from the newly created one or is ther ea way to migrate the two together?

    Thanks for any help!

The "Admin Settings" was replaced with the new "Admin Access Management" option.
And the "Email Welcome Preview" was removed from the system.

So, you would NOT "move the two missing .php files over". They're irrelevant and will not work.

You should DELETE your old admin folder, and use the new one that came with your 1.5.0 install, and apply any required updates to that new admin folder, based on whatever updates are relevant for your addons.

It's likely that these have not yet been ported over to 1.50. Until they are, you'll not have admin configuration options.

More than that.. Super Orders and Image Handler (like MANY add-ons which are not yet updated) flat out WON'T YET WORK in Zen Cart v1.5.. Working around these using backdoor methods I see posted as "helpful" suggestions by some is NOT a good idea.. Many of these add-ons need fixes so that they work within the new secure Zen Cart v1.5 world. Some of these suggested "workarounds" to the admin page registration process can potentially compromise the store's security..

Best practice is that if the add-on you want to use has not been updated for v1.5, then WAIT for it to be updated before using it..
