Default Google Merchant Center Feeder question

    Hello,

I have recently installed the Google Merchant Center Feeder addon to my site. I am able to generate an xml product file and have it upload to google merchant centre without any problems.

Now the thing im having trouble understanding is how can i have the feed created and uploaded automatically.

I have setup the schedule in the merchant centre to have the upload run every month, but i don’t know how to have a new product xml feed/file be created automatically in Zencart. Can this be done? I only see the option to delete and upload a file in Zencart.

Cheers in advanced for any help with this.

you will need to set up a cron job to do this, either by using your hosting control panel or an online provider

Or you can go in to your Google Merchant Center account and set it up to automatically crawl the feed.

To export the file to your zencart admin, go to: Tools> Goole Merchant Center Feeder

    Feed Type: Products
    Max Products: Leave Blank
    Starting Point: Leave Blank

Click on the confirm button then wait for the pop up window to finish loading. It will show full debug info.

Then update the feed in your google merchant center.

In my control panel provided by my web host, under cron job, it is set up like this: wget http://yourwebsite.com//googlefroogle.php?feed=fy_uy_tp

They already did that. The question was how to do it automatically. The simplest way is to set it up in Google Merchant Center.

Uploaded everything as per instructions for the Google Merchant Centre Feeder but when I come to step 7 in instructions Admin.Tools/Google Merchant Centre Feeder this option is not there.

Have the Google Merchant Centre Configuration OK in the Configuration part of the cSore.

You forgot to rename the admin folder in the file set to the name you're using on your site.

Hi, I tried to export all of my 139 products, however, the program is only exporting 30 products. How can I have all products exported?

    Below is the pop-up message.

Google Merchant Center Feeder v1.9.1 started 2011/09/20 16:10:47
    Feed file - /home/jwproduc/public_html/feed/google/car_parts_products.xml
Processing: Feed - Yes, Upload - No
    ~
Google Merchant Center File Complete In 0.816617 Seconds 30 of 139 Records

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Elvis
