I'm looking to make changes to support the use of the Superglobals add-on in v1.5.x. Its (optional) admin support requires a change to the admin's index.php; it looks like there have been some minor (e.g. bugfixes?) changes to that file since v1.3.8a. Can anyone confirm that the 1.5.0 (8/2 beta) version of the file will be backwards-compatible with v1.3.8a and 1.3.9x?

It will be compatible with 1.3.9x.
It might be okay with 1.3.8, but NOBODY should be using anything older than 1.3.9. PERIOD. FULL STOP.
No need to make any addons support 1.3.8 or older..
