Default PayPal Website Payments Standard (IPN) Orders

    Hello,

Customer orders are not appearing on the Admin screen when PayPal Website Payments Standard (IPN) is used.

Is there a setting on the Admin screen that should be set?

    Thanks for your Help
    DT.

That happens when there's a problem with PayPal's servers telling *your* server about a new order.

And, that problem *only* happens when using the Website Payments Standard module, since that's the only way that module can receive orders for your store.

But, if you remove that module and use Express Checkout instead, then the order is instantly stored in your store, and doesn't have to rely on that background notification. It's a much more contemporary and reliable way to receive orders and payments.

So: quick solution: Click "Remove" on the Website Payments Standard(IPN) module, and then click "Install" on the Express Checkout module, and configure it according to the instructions www.zen-cart.com/getpaypal.

    Thanks DrByte for your response.

I completed setup, when I run a test transaction, Intermittently I'm getting error:

"400 Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Size of a request header field exceeds server limit."

    I'm using Chrome.

Is this a paypal setup issue or zencart?

    Kind Regards,
    DT

    Sounds like a browser issue.
