Disable Banners On Specific Pages

Hi - I'm wondering is there an override to disable banners on particular pages. We have some banner adverts at the bottom of each page in footer position 1 to be precise. But on pages like checkout shipping etc the banner is quite obtrusive and can easily be clicked accidently instead of clicking continue. Can the banner be disabled for specific pages ?

As the checkout_ pages are secure pages, you could set the Banners to not display on secure pages in the Banner Manager on the individual pages ...
