customer name, shipping & billing address not showing on invoices

using a NEW install of version 1.3.9h without any add on.

make a purchase using COD and flat rate shipping ... order emails are sent right with customer name and shipping address but no name or billing& shipping address in the admin invoice tab nor in the packing slip tab or edit order tab.

the same goes with free shipping and money order....

obviously the infos don't get passed even thought the address can be found in the orders emails and in the customer details...

i'm not new to zencart as i have 2 successfull shops running fine on paypal IPN but for this one i need exclusively cash on delivery and cash on pick up with shipping by rate ( delivery by messenger) for a very local website and not being able to resolve this issue gets me puzzled.

note i have looked everywhere and 1 person got the same problem but the thread was closed before any solution was given ...

please help !

as I said my sites using IPN have no problem its the one not using a payment gateway that has a problem

i managed to find out that it was because the server was using PHP 4.4.9 .... upgrading to php 5+ solved this problem

if this may answer some other people experiencing the same problem ....


note this will also fix the products decriptions disapearing when editing.

Had you followed posting guidlines and provided your server info upfront, many would have jumped on that php ver dis-connect

I have the same problem. It sounds like you found the right solution Kosapan!

Tell me how would I discover my server version? The server I use is Pixelnets and it's obviously remote to me.

As for Paypal Express, I was only offered the IPN version by Paypal. I guess that I took their advice with them being the experts and such!
