My order total is way off + $800 to $3k

I'm using version 1.3.9, it was working fine, now my order total is way out of wack, but the subtotal is correct.
Ex. from my last test order:

Sub-Total: $424.20
Table Rate (Best Way): $0.00
: $249.43
Total: $3,367.25

I've tried to figure it out where the error is, but the numbers don't make sense!!! Help!!!!!! (The shipping is off too, there is no tax on this order.)

What's the $249.43?
Have you checked the files in includes/modules/order_total to see if anything has been changed?

I'm not sure, it should be the tax which is zero. I checked the file, but I don't have anything to compare it to except the file included with my last upgrade, and they look nothing alike. Should I uninstall & reinstall the upgrade? It was working fine until I downloaded a module to connect with QuickBooks. Then, my boss changed his mind & I uninstalled it. I didn't do a test order immediately, so I'm not sure if that caused the problem.

I installed the latest zen cart upgrade (1.3.9h) & that fixed the problem, most of my customization survived also!!!

I'm using 1.3.9h and having this issue as well. Since there isn't another 1.3.9 upgrade and I can't really go to 1.5 is there a solution anyone could recommend?
