Default PHP editor reports syntax error

    Beta 1.5
    \includes\templates\template_default\common\html_header.php
    line 37 = <?php } //endif FAVICON ?>

Editor reports syntax error resulting from insertion of comment and subsequent code through end of line 40 is incorrect.

Has been like that since 1.3.9, so must not be functional error... but, does look like possible problem.

Sorry, could not edit original message.

    Suggested code change:
    line 37 = <?php } //endif FAVICON
    line 38 = ?>

    ~or~
    line 37 = <?php } ?>

Thanks, we'll look at that change for a future version.

It is not a functional error.
It's certainly not impeding execution in any way.
According to Zend, the authors of PHP, it is not a syntax error. So, it appears as though your syntax highlighter is making an error.
