There was a security error when trying to login

Hi all,

Hope you can help.

I am getting the above error when trying to login as a customer and also, the create an account page is not working and redirects to itself.

This is a fresh installation of Zen Cart 1.3.9h. It has been running for 1 year without problems with the same host (Just Host). We have had an SEO company working on the site and have changed from PayPal standard to PayPal Express recently but not 100% sure when the problem first started although this must be within the last month.

Server details below:

OS: Linux 2.6.35.7-grsec
Apache: 2.2.17
PHP: 5.2.16 (Zend: 2.2.0)
MySQL: MySQL 5.0.92-community

I have checked the template files to ensure the security token is added after password fields in the login/timeout files..

Cache folders are set correctly and has been checked with Fix Cache Key also...

I did manage to create an account last night while messing around with some of the files/settings, but now this seems to have stopped working again.

Any suggestions please? I'm a little stuck now...

If you were to use FireFox go to the Login Page and click on the icon next to your URL in the browser and click More Information then click on Media ... you would see all of the non-secure images that are causing this issue ...

So you think that the insecure items are causing the login failure?

I will look in to this now...

I do not know if this is the source of the login failure but will throw errors on secure pages ...

If you switch to the Classic Template can you login?

Hi,

No, the problem still occurs when using the 'classic' template...

Also to note, the insecure items have never caused problems with login before and no more media/images have been added.
