Hi am new over here and so far zen cart is really great for launching a new e commerce website however i live in middle east and not all people are good in english therefor i must apply arabic languge to my website.


iv tryed installing arabic languge pack and the text align was awful the website looked really bad since i cant change the css for diffrent languges so this is what i did.

am using pure black template as english
am using pure black template as arabic

i renamed pure black template to arabic_black this way when a person click english it would make him use the first one which is working perfectly

however if he chose arabic which is pure black template renamed to arabic_black the side boxes wouldnt appear at all.

iv been trying to add arabic to my website since ages and i really dont want to change the template id like to keep it as its . any ideas?

Hello. The alignment looks fine to me. I'm looking at it from Firefox. The only thing I'd change with the Arabic is the size of the font. Can you make it any larger? And you've got a few problems with your English translation.

I'd type it in Arabic, but I don't know how to enable that on my web browser:
Ahlan bikum. Anna shuft al-mawqi'uh fee "firefox" wma fee mushkila ma' at-tarteeb, wilakin alharoof sigheer jidan. Mumkin tikabirha shwaya? wa toojid mushkila sigheera ma' at-tarjima al-engliziya.

Did you istall the arabic_black the proper way? It needs to be installed and linked to Arabic language (Like you install a language pack.)

Much of the text you need to change is in language folders and files (as you know) so you need to create arabic language files and then put these into the languages folder, following the over-rides principle.

Use the arabic language pack as an exampke.

You MIGHT be able to simply move those files into arabic_black folder(s) in your main languages folder.

yeah it was installed perfeclty


i did a test
i renamed my template fodlers for a test

the working version black_pure_free to arabic_black
and the opposite

same problem which mean it was installed proper but there is something missing

For the template that doesn't work right - is there any chance that the section of the css dealing with the sideboxes is commented out somehow? Or on the template - is it commented out or could there by a typo in that area that's causing it not to be read, so for the sideboxes it sticks with the default (english) instead? It's amazing what one wrong character can do.

i just made it normal arabic pack but as you can see the text align wont change and i cant find a way to change it..
