Remove header,sidebars etc when using iframe to show EZpages?

im using the highslide plugin by numinix, and i have a few links which i call using this but in an iframe instead, hence the reason why i dont need the header footer etc, an example is a list of anniversaries by year and their meanings etc, its additional info for the product_info page so i dont want the user to be distracted away, however i still want this page accessible from other areas of my site (with the header footer etc etc)

the numinix module isn't the problem.. its knowing how to tell zen cart that i dont need the additional bits when called from the product_info page.

i'm aware of the override that can used on tpl_main_page.php

is there a way to adapt / use this on the EZpages themselves?

Configuration > EZ-Page Settings >
EZ-Pages Pages to disable headers
EZ-Pages Pages to disable footers
EZ-Pages Pages to disable left-column
EZ-Pages Pages to disable right-column

If you want the same pages accessible whole from elsewhere, that would require custom coding. Your best bet might be to clone the information and use one set of ez-pages for iframes and the other set for regular use. Duplicate content would not be an issue, as search engines can't see into iframes.

sorry i may not have made myself clear, i still want these ezpages to render normally with headers etc when accessed outside of the product_info page, however when using an iframe to display the ezpage inside the product_info display i need to disable them as they are being displayed in a modal box.

which is why i wonder if the array in the tpl_main_page may be a solution?

or perhaps including the language file itself?

any advice much appreciated.

EDIT: just seen your edit. is there already a mod for cloning the ezpages? or could you point me in the right direction perhaps please?

Just copy & paste the content of one into another new ez-page. It's a manual process, but you are not going to be doing it frequently, are you?

haha i thought you meant the whole ezpage module lol

erm, not necessarily but if there was an easy way to do it i could probably make use of it right across my site, so its not an absolute must but it would be very very useful.

for the sake of anyone else looking to do this, i went an easier route by allowing php in my ezpages

used a php include to embed a predesigned html file which displayed with sidebars and header footer etc etc in ezpage, but allowed me to call the raw html file without head etc from within my product info pages.
