    Default Header Div

    Hello everyone,

    im looking to create a header div so that it can contain a facebook and twitter logo link just above the little British flag.

    Any idea if this can be done in zencart itself or if i needs to be done manually. If manually where would i start and if anyone can tell me which file i would need to edit it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Why not just put the two hyperlinked icons in the language div so they sit next to the UK flag?

    It's not something that can be done from admin, which I think is what you meant; you would put the icon code in (probably) /includes/templates/theme196/common/tpl_header.php.
    As you are using a Template Monster template, I can make no guarantees about what the file looks like.

    The language div would probably be the easiest place to put the icons, especially since TM wraps header elements with lots of extra divs with cryptic names and it may be difficult to control a new one.

    Thanks for the replies and yeah it is a template monster template.

    I was ideally wanting them above the flag bit rather than next too. I will have to look into this.

    Cheers for giving me somewhere easy to start now.

    Find out which element has the black background for the language box, and put the icon code inside or before that depending on whether you want the icons in the black or not.

    Hey i was wondering if anyone can help - http://www.horrorwarehouse.com

    I managed to get the twitter button on the right banner bit above the flag. I would like to add a facebook button next to it but whenever i add the image link in the div it goes underneath instead of next to it.

    Any ideas?

    Any help is appreciated as always.

    Code:
    .header_t .row1 .col2 {
        float: right;
        width: 104px;
    }
    The width need to be wider to get those two huge icons to sit next to each other....

    But you will notice the flag gets pushed out of place to the left......
    are you going to be adding any other languages to the store? If not you could just remove the code that displays the flag...

    Thanks barco57 and no i am just going to use English for now anyway.

    Any idea where i'd find the code to remove the flag? What about the search bar as i see its moved onto the next line also.

    Cheers

    I put the width wider but sadly it didnt work, it made the right margin bigger and further away from the right side.

    Cheers
