Problems with changing header

Hi, I have just installed zen into a wordpress site. I am having issues trying to get into the correct html editor. I am self taught, so I get confused easily...my version is this;
Zen Cart 1.3.9h

Database Patch Level: 1.3.9h

when I try to get to the file

includes/languages/english/custom/header.php

it takes me to the wordpress template instead of staying in shopping cart, what does this follow?

this is where I tried to find it

but when I paste the line after that it says error

403 Permission Denied

You do not have permission for this request /storefront/zc_admin/includes/languages/english/custom/header.php

I am also trying to find a way to add a drop down box for sizes and prices of t-shirts.

First, you have no includes/languages/english/custom/header.php

The word "custom" in FAQ's and tutorials refers to custom template. In other words, an add-on template that has been added post Zen Cart installation. Right now, all you have is the Classic template installed, so it would be includes/languages/english/classic/header.php

You do NOT want to edit the header.php file in the classic template, so the first thing you need to do is install another template. You'll find a nice selection of free templates here:

Next, you don't edit header.php - or any files - by directly accessing it with your browser. You need to get an FTP program for downloading and uploading. Then you need a plain text editor for editing the files.

Finally, it's a bad idea to post the path to your admin folder on a public forum. One of the post-installation things you need to do is change the name of that folder.
