Coupon Admin - % off goes away

Hi,

I've added a coupon code for 10% off, and when I hit preview it shows 10%, but after that it shows $10.00 off.

I re-added and edited over and over, and everytime it looks right in the preview mode showing it will be 10% off but after confirming it changes right back to $10.00

It says "The value of the discount for the coupon, either fixed or add a % on the end for a percentage discount."

but adding % doesnt seem to work?? any ideas?

Nevermind, I was trying to add free shipping to the coupon!!

IS there any way to add free shiping to a 10% discount? I have a lot of coupons floating around offering this and I didn't want to offer free shipping to EVERYONE
