I am having a problem with my live Zen Cart store. I can send emails from the admin of my store to customers however the reverse is not true. Customers whether they are logged in or not cannot send my store emails from the contact form. Zen Cart definitely automatically populates the fields when a customer is logged in and confirms that an email is sent but no email is ever received.
When I change the email friendly errors in admin/configuration/email options to FALSE i get an error message:
Could not instantiate mail function. Please check Admin->Configuration->Email Options->Email Transport.
From an email perspective the following mail failure message is received:
A message that you sent contained no recipient addresses, and therefore no delivery could be attempted.
I would appreciate some help with resolving this issue. I am on a Unix/linux server. I have already tried changing the email transport method from the default PHP to SMTP and some others with no effect.
The email options are set up as follows: (Please note I have xxxx out my email address because of spamming) Is it something to do with SMTP settings which I have not configured as I didn't know how?
