Setting up USPS ahipping

Hi,
I am using version v1.3.9h and I am trying to setup the USPS shipping info. When I went to module shipping I saw there was USPS and I went to set this up. It gave me the following information:
You will need to have registered a Web Tools account with USPS at their website to use this module.

USPS expects you to use pounds as weight measure for your products.

Creating a customer account for USPS realtime shipping quotes
1. Info on USPS and Rate Quotes
2. Create a USPS Web Tools account
3. Fill in your customer information details and click Submit
4. You will receive an email containing your USPS rate-quote Web Tools User ID
5. Insert the Web Tools User ID in the Zen Cart USPS shipping module.
6. Telephone USPS 1-800-344-7779 and ask them to move your account to the Production Server or email them at [email protected], quoting your Web Tools User ID.
7. They will send another confirmation email. Set the Zen Cart module into Production mode (instead of Test mode) to finish activation.

So I went to the USPS website and signed up for an account, I received the log in information, but here is where I am stuck in the instructions above it states to 5. Insert the Web Tools User ID in the Zen Cart USPS shipping module. But where do I do that? I do not see any place to add this. Am I suppose to install something else?

Any help would be appreciated.

First ... make sure that you have the January 2, 2011 version C of USPS from post #26:

Follow the instructions to install it ...

Next, be sure you either emailed USPS to get your user account activated for the USPS Production server ...

NOTE: Calling is faster 1-800-344-7779 (7:00AM to 11:00PM ET)

Then, once activated, you will see the when you edit the USPS shipping module in the Modules ... Shipping ... and click on USPS and click EDIT ... where you can enter your user id:
Enter the USPS Web Tools User ID

Thank you I will call them to activate it then.

I had them activate it today and I put in the user ID. But now I see a yellow light under sort order? What does that mean? I know green means good and red means not activated or something along those lines.

Do you have a Zone set on it? That would give a yellow icon as well ...

Yes I have it set in several places my configuration ( zip code and zone) ,and shipping module.

If you edit the USPS shipping module and see a Zone set on it, that is why you have the yellow icon ... you are limiting who can use it so it is set as a warning to remind you of that ...

Only set Zones on the modules if you want to limit them to specific addresses ...

Basically, green means all, yellow means some, red means none. Mine is yellow for the reason Ajeh mentioned. I ship only to the US, so I have that zone selected.
