How do I make a banner ad image smaller so it fits in a side column?

I'm trying to upload this site's http://mohgasm.com/ header .gif image as a banner (promo ad or whatever) to my site http://www.cajunlasers.com/store/ onto the left side column, I'm able to load it up on my site but the image of it is way too large, takes up half the page. Resizing the image smaller in "photoshop" seems to not affect it once it's on my website cajunlasers.

Is there an easy fix for this or an image size adjustment setting somewhere in the banner manager, or layout settings?

You can go to the banner manager to set the banner as a side banner then go to admin config max values I believe to set the width there

I don't believe Zencart has a function to automatically resize images in banners. The Photoshop route would make the most sense to me. If the new, smaller image didn't display, I'd guess you entered the wrong path to the image when you created the banner.
