USPS Module Activation Problem

We're experiencing a problem with the new USPS production server activation. We've verified cURL is working on our server and received the verification from USPS that our WebTools account has been moved to the production server. We've also contacted them several times to find out if the activation problem is on their end. However, they have assured us that the account is live on the production server.

The status indicator in our admin > modules> shipping> USPS is still orange instead of green. We also have a password for our WebTools account however there is no field or place in the php code for entering a password. Could this be the problem? Is anyone else experiencing this activation issue?

You said you have an "activation problem". Is that because you think the "orange" indicator means there's a problem?
Orange is caused by either:
- you've got a zone restriction applied to the module (see the "Zone" pulldown and set it to --None-- if you don't want a zone restriction applied).
- or you've set the "Enabled Status" (first radio button in the settings) to False.

There's no need for a password in the USPS module.

More important is ... when you go to checkout, do you get shipping quotes?

thanks for the orange status clarification reply. we do have a zone restriction and the activation setting is true. It didn't work when we ran the initial checkout test, but will try it again now.

usps was still not appearing in our checkout test this afternoon. I've located the issue tho, the zone settings of Store and state where the brick and mortar is located was the problem. changing these settings has fixed the issue. thanks again.
