Help needed - how to temporarily stop new products listing

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if i can TEMPORARILY STOP NEW PRODUCTS THAT I POST LISTING IN THE NEW PRODUCTS SECTION?

If it is possible to turn off when i turn back on will the new products i just posted then list, which i don't want.

I need this because i listed some new items out of order and going backwards seems wrong. So not having them come up in new products seems the best fix.

Any help would be muchly appreciated

"listed some new items out of order"? What does "out of order" mean? Is there a particular importance to the "order" in which you add items to your store? The "new products" page lists them in random order anyway, so that's really quite moot.

You can disable individual products by clicking their green button in the admin product listing. Then they won't show anywhere on your store until you click the red button to enable it (and turns the button green) again.
