In my admin panel I can see the Paypal IPN's and I am now taking credit cards via Auth.net AIM.
I want to make sure none of this is available to hackers. How can I tell if my site is storing card numbers and IPN's?
I am about to setup eChecks through Auth.net as well. I don't want to store anything from those either.
I do however plan in the future to offer layaway and allow customers to make their own payments so I don't want to interfere with that either.

The current version of Zen Cart does not store any sensitive information such as credit card numbers.
IPN notices don't contain any sensitive information that hackers could exploit for fraudulent purposes..

Correct, 1.39 doesn't store anything.
