That option was not added to the module.
Will take a short amount of time, but I think this would be a viable inclusion.

Is there a way to make this available to all customers, rather than having to pre-approve?
Select the prior version. The latest version added code to check for the customer to belong to a group_pricing. There were no other changes to the code

This module seems like exactly what I need, unfortunately I can't get it working.
1. I install the files.
2. In Admin->Modules->Shipping I install the module.
3. I create a test customer.
4. I create a new group in Admin->Customers->Group Pricing.
5. I assign the pricing group to the customer.
6. Then I login as the test customer and add a product to the cart and go to checkout.
On the shipping page there is no option to select purchase order.
Any idea what is going wrong here?
I can now answer my own question: I didn't use the "PO_" prefix in "Admin -> Customers -> Group Pricing"
I can't seem to get this to work. I'm using Zen Cart 1.5 and version 1.0c of the Purchase Order module as I want it available to all customers. It show and is activated under payments, but I can't get it to show as a payment option when a customer checks out. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Andy
I do not collect any payment information in my store but I needed to collect PO Numbers.
After I installed Purchase Order Basic I was getting radio buttons which I did not want.
(Doing what it was supposed to do)
The reason for if was I also had "Money Order" turned on as a payment. )
I removed money order and Walla no more radio buttons.
Now I have PO input capability.
NOTE: For my purposes I did have to change includes/languages/English/modules/payment/purchaseorders.php line 22 to: define('MODULE_PAYMENT_PURCHASEORDER_TEXT_TITLE', '');
(Removed verbiage)
AND
Also /includes/modules/payment/purchaseorders.php Line 122 to: $order->info['payment_method'] .= . $_POST['po_number']; (removed ':')
The verbiage and colon were becoming part of the PO Number. I'm thinking that verbiage and colon need to be coded as a Label.
However with my above mod on the orders screen just the PO Number is shown with no label.
That verbiage and colon along with the PO number were also being exported with/in "Export Shipping+Order Information" which was messing me up when I imported that data into Quick Books.

Hadn't given it much thought as I needed to get this working yesterday. Thought I'd pursue it further today. I posted that info in the Purchase Order Basic forum.
Apparently it was put there for a reason but I don't really see why you'd want any extraneous verbiage mixed in with a PO number......
