Min: 0 Units: 0 keeps appearing

I have set my listings pages to show only Price and Add:
The "Min: 0 Units: 0" keeps reappearing.

I turned everything off in each item. This is what I did.

I set "Product Qty Min/Unit Mix: to Yes to remove the "buy now" button
I set Product Qty Maximum: 0
I set "Products Quantity Box Shows:" to Yes

When I Review/Update everything is ok but today some of the items are showing "Min: 0 Units: 0" again.

My client was also having this problem and thought she was not doing it right but when I check, everything is correct. I then click Update without making changes and everything is back to normal.

Does anyone else have this problem?

You should use the defaults unless you have a reason to change them:

Product Qty Minimum: 1
Product Qty Maximum: 0 0 = Unlimited, 1 = No Qty Boxes
Product Qty Units: 1

You cannot buy a Minimum of 0 quantity ... and there is not such thing as 0 Units ...

I am using the default. For clarity,

Product Qty Min/Unit Mix: = Yes, Show Quantity Box
Product Qty Minimum: 1
Product Qty Maximum: 0
Product Qty Units: 1
Product Qty Min/Unit Mix: = Yes

This is how they are set but I am seeing this on the web page

Add:
Min: 0 Units: 0

If I go to Admin and into the item, select Preview then Update, the
Min: 0 Units: 0 goes away. That is what I want. But sometimes it comes back even when I have done nothing.

This page was correct yesterday, now some items are showing this. If I Preview and Update they will disappear again.

Find this product in your Zen Cart Admin and hit E for Edit:
Sterling Silver Awareness Ribbon Earrings

If you see them set as 0 for all three choices then you have it set incorrectly ...

I do not know why you would be getting incorrect defaults ...

please re-read my last message. They are not all set to 0, they cannot be. The defaults are 1, 0, 1. but something is surely wrong for it to show up.

Also, I think I am setting it right, because when I update everything is correct. It is only later, maybe the next morning, it is wrong again. But not for all. Only some items.

I will reset everything today and see if it happens again tomorrow (perhaps a nightly update? I do not know!)

I do not want this to be a problem and update every item all the time because we are getting more items added and I cannot hand off to a client if there is a problem.

I have never seen anything like it ... so I really do not know what to tell you ...

You could browse your database table:
products

and see how many have the fields:
products_quantity_order_min
products_quantity_order_units

set to 0 and fix them ... then see if it happens again ... checking the database table is the fastest way to find them ...

It's also saying I added the products in 1970 lol

Hello kezerb,
with your min button, do you also have a "buy now" button? Removing the "buy now" button should also remove the Min.

To remove the "buy now" button
Admin/Catalog/Categories-Products/
select item, select edit,
set "Product Qty Min/Unit Mix: to Yes

To remove the Max: number
Admin/Catalog/Categories-Products/
select item, select edit,
Product Qty Maximum: 0
