    Default Edit Category layout

    Hi ive looked in the faq cant see this.

    This is referring to my main front page menu categories:

    My categories in main menu area currently only cater for sort descriptions example 'dog bed' etc i need a longer category which breaks into a few rows ie 'dog bed for dog lovers' and stay on a single row

    Example

    If i make the category longer with extra words they all stay on the same line and my last category wraps to a new line underneath the first.

    Hope that makes sense thanks.

    Are you asking about the category links in the header ? If so, there's no way I know to make those wrap individually.

    Something a little freaky about a 'Leads and Collars' category in a wedding store .

    Oh youre kidding me, ahh!!! So how do i stop the menus continuing onto the next line. See 'Pooch Living' needs to be on the same line as the other categories, so i have do trim down the categories names to fit?!? I can't believe you cant set this in the css files?

    You don't have room for those category names with that spacing in that font size. You can't put 10 pounds of , um, flour in a 5 pound sack.

    You can look in stylesheet_header_menu.css for these rules:

    div#dropMenu ul.level1>li{
    margin-right:21px;
    }
    div#dropMenu ul.level1>li>a{
    color:#6d6c6c;
    font-size:12px;
    line-height:17px;
    text-transform:uppercase;
    text-decoration:none;
    background:#fff;
    font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif;
    padding-bottom:12px;
    }

    and fiddle with the margin value in the first and the font-size in the second to make things fit, or make your category names smaller, or some combination.

    This is one of the joys of dealing with Template Monster templates.

    What would really help is how do i work out what is what.

    For example i wish to edit the size of my logo. I downloaded firebug hoping it would help but can't seem to find what im looking for.

    I want to just mouse over the logo and it tell me which .css file i need to edit to change the image size of the logo.
