Transferring site to new domain now get 404 error when accessing admin on new site

I did a complete backup of my original database, set up a new zen cart install on the new domain, did an overwrite on the new site with the old domain, & changed all of the paths in the configure.php files (both admin and regular) to reflect the new domain. Everything still works on old domain perfectly. The new domain site works perfectly as well with the exception of admin access. The admin login shows up on the new site, but once I actually login I get a 404 page error. Cannot figure out what to do. Please help!

Check the settings again in your configure.php file in admin/includes/configure.php

You have to change permission to edit the files then revert back to 444

I looked over it again. I made sure that the permissions were set to read & write when editing them, & are now back to read only. Is there a specific area/line within the admin/includes/configure.php file that I should be looking at? everything seems to be correct.
