I can no longer see any of the other payments that used to be listed there, I also cannot edit or click on the 2 that are there to get the menu on the right to show up (I've tryed scrolling right, it's the end of the screen)

What could cause this? The only modifications I have is the zencart manager from emagicone and template Abbington Mega from picaflor-azu, and lightbox.

I can also still see them listed in:
    /shop/includes/languages/english/modules/payment

    Check the directory:
    /includes/modules/payment

do you have any old files or backup files in there?

The debug logs should help too ...

here are the files in my payments folders, they don't match, is that what is causing it?

How do I get the debug log? The files in /logs just show records of the latest payments processed (payment is working, I just wanted to add payapl)

    Waht every you have in:
    /includes/modules/payment

needs to have a match in:
    /includes/languages/english/modules/payment

And, you need to make sure that the code files are in:
    /includes/modules/payment

and the language files are in:
    /includes/languages/english/modules/payment

What info shows up in your debug logs I am assuming you looked in /logs and refreshed your FTP program for the most recent?

oops was checking my SIM debug, didn't see the MYdebug file. latest one says:

[06-Jan-2016 12:41:16] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '*' in /home/content/47/2344347/html/shop/includes/modules/payment/authorizenet_echeck.php on line 14

can I just delete echeck from both areas to fix it? I don't need or use that module? I'm not sure how it would be broken, never used it.

Are all of your payment modules both code and language up to date?

Yes, you can delete both files.

But, I'm a little concerned about why normally-never-touched-files are somehow triggering errors suggesting the files have been altered. I recommend investigating that too ;)

deleting the affected files fixed it, everything is back to normal now, how weird! Maybe my store manager edited something when I installed it. No idea. Thanks so much for all the help!!!
