Default Order date on Invoice is server date/time

    Hello

My website is being hosted in the USA but I am in Australia.

It looks like the Order Date on the invoice is being generated from the server system date time.

I have someone claiming that an order was put in on Friday because the invoice states that, but the emails (and paypal records) show Saturday morning (11:14am) was the actual order date/time.

How can I get the invoices to show the correct day according to Australian Eastern Standard (Daylight at the moment) Time?

    Thanks.
    Kenton

Thanks HEAPS for coding a mod just for me but ........
Got up to "Upload this file to the admin." but the date/time didn't change. You say not to continue so I didn't.

To confirm, I copied the (modified) time_zone_fix.php file to my admin directory. This is correct?

    (I modified the php file to be Sydney instead of Melbourne as per php.net .... putenv ('TZ=Australia/Sydney');

Pehaps it's my server ... here's the details

    Server OS: Linux 2.6.32.8-grsec-2.1.14-modsign-xeon-64
    Database: MySQL 5.1.53-log
    Server Date: 16/02/2012 17:01:43
    Database Date: 16/02/2012 17:01:43
    HTTP Server: Apache
    PHP Version: 5.2.17 (Zend: 2.2.0)
PHP Memory Limit: 90M PHP Safe Mode: Off
    PHP File Uploads: On
Max Size: 7M POST Max Size: 8M
    Database Data Size: 1,128 kB
    Database Index Size: 621 kB

    Thanks

Did you upload the file to the correct directory and did you upload the directories and files from the includes directory as well? As these files need to be uploaded for the mod to work.

Also who told you not to continue?

When installing mods it is always best to upload the directories as well as the files this way everything is intact. But don't forget to rename the admin and your template directory if the instructions tell you to.

For example in this mod there is a directory called "YOUR_RENAMED_ADMIN" you must rename this to the same name that your admin folder is using on the server. Once you have done this it's just a simple process of uploading the directories and files from the mod.
