Email Configuration

Hi,

I've not be able to configure my zencart email properties to send out emails when ordered, etc. When I checked with my hosting company which is godaddy they asked me to use "relay-hosting.secureserver.net" as my relay seerver in the code. Now the confusion is where exactly do I need to insert it or is there a way to make my emails go through without this? Please help

If you absolutely must use GoCrappy hosting, then you can use the email setup instructions for them here: http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.p...Email_Problems

But, the wisest advice you'll ever receive is to find a better host.

Any suggestions on hosting ? what kind of hosting I can use to launch my website for ecommerce and what would be the bandwodth etc etc? suggestions will be appreciated. Since my website will be for India would it be a good idea to have a hosting company from India?

In the Zen Cart distribution zip file, since v1.5.0, there is a /docs/ImplementationGuide.pdf file which outlines the requirements.
As for suggestions, there are links at the top of this page which you may consider.
