Coupon for First Time Client

How do I set it up where once a Client sets up an account, they will receive a 10% discount to be used in future purchases.

I would like for it to be a different coupon # for each customer and expire at a certain time.

Create your 10% off coupon in Admin - Gift Certificate/Coupon - Coupon Admin, then go to Admin - Configuration - GV Coupons and enter the coupon code in New Signup Discount Coupon ID#.
