More information side box has disappeared

Hello,

This is my first Zen Cart install and customisation and I assure you I have looked this up before posting this.

I was removing the Site Map links, i.e. the Coupons and Gift certificate FAQ, when I suddenly realised that the more_information sidebox had disappeared.

Now, I had changed it quite a lot, so I restored the original code and uploaded the file, but the sidebox is still not showing on the site.

However, the sidebox is listed in the Admin > Tools >Layout Boxes Controller.

Any suggestions please?

A link to your site would help.

The links you mentioned are in the Information, not More Information box. Exactly which one are we talking about ?

Did you remove all the links from the More Information box ? Many sideboxes, including More Information, don't display if there's no content in them.

You can remove links from both boxes in Admin - Configuration - Define Page Status, BTW.

I've been away for a while. After coming back to it, I found what I had to change to make it visible on the page. Many thanks for the explanation of More Information behaviour.
