I am using v1.5
I upgraded from v1.39 recently (myself), but everything was working fine up until today when I tried to disable (not uninstall) my authorize.net aim module because of being in the process of closing my merchant account...
I do have quite a few addons installed, i don't think any of them should be affecting this though?!
the problem only started now because i tried to disable my authorize.net aim module.
is there a way to go into the phpmyadmin to turn it back from "false" to "true" for now to see if that fixes it???
Sounds like you've got damaged PHP files somewhere, causing errors.

WHEW.
All is ok. The problem happened when I went to edit my configure.php to change http to https for the admin (as required for the admin to be in ssl to edit the payment module) and when doing that I had accidentally typed into the top of the configure.php file!!!
so glad that is sorted out...
