Custom Dropdown for Home Page

I have installed the SnapAffiliate program and have everything working well!

The site is basically a give back type site, meaning a registered charity can become a partner with us and they will earn a generous commission on sales for the customers they send our way - so they will hopefully place links and banners on their sites with their tracking id in them.

But I would also love to have a dropdown on the home page that will list all the charities that we are currently supporting.

We want the dropdown to show the charity name (which is being pulled from the company name field)....and then if someone clicks on it it will have their affiliate ID in the link so they are credited for any sales....so it does not necessarily take them anywhere on the site....it will just capture the affiliate code....

I would also love if when they make that selection I can have something in the header that says "you are supporting ABC chairty".....so there is no confusion....

I have done a bit of searching and am not really finding anything relative...

Can anyone help get me started or share code that may be similar?

You could adapt this add-on to your needs:

Edit the menu to include a link, and then additional links to the specific charities. Another approach might be to use the code built in to Zen Cart for the manufacturer box, although that might be a little complicated.

Ah, I see you already have the horizontal dropdown menu installed. Why not just edit it and add a Participating Charities link to the right of Shelter & Rescue?

Lol! I actually looked at both of those as options..I think both are more than I would really need to make this work.....and I did have a rough page set up with a list of charities....but because this based on shopping...I really want this to be the first thing they see on the home page before they start shopping so we can catch that affiliate link immediately upon their arrival without having to go to a different page!
