Gateway that allows you to hold payments until product in stock?

Hi

I want to be able to allow few customers(wholesale customers) to run through a normal checkout process and enter their details with a payment gateway. But i don't want the payment to be taken from them until i authorize with the gateway that the product is in stock and shipped. Kind of like how all the major online shops work, amazon, play.com etc...

Is their any payment gateways or zen-cart module that provide this feature.

All the built-in payment modules allow you to "authorize-only" instead of "authorize+capture" or "final sale".
When you "authorize only", then you must manually capture each payment after shipping. If you don't capture before the authorization expires, you won't receive the money. Expiration times are determined between you and the gateway service.

Addon modules may or may not have the same feature available.
