help question Making Options non mandatory

    Hi,

sorry if this has been answered before but can someone explain how I make all options in a drop down not mandatory. I am setting up a shop for a takeaway business and for some items on the menu the options are optional!. Also when only one item is listed as an option it seems to default to a radio button. Please can you advise

    Thanks again

    Martin

Drop downs with only 1 Option Value are converted to Radio Buttons ...

Do you have the Attributes marked as Required?

help question Re: Making Options non mandatory

    Hi,

when I check in the attributes controler it has a red x against required. Also the item I have only has one option e.g Garlic Bread with option = radio button cheese. Please can you advise how to stop the cheese being added as the customer may not want cheese.

    Thanks again, Martin

For an Option Name with only one Option Value that you can have included or excluded you should really make it a checkbox so that the customer can check it or uncheck it ...
