Fortunately my 'proper' job is a database designer / data manager and so I actually hold all that information anyway, I was kidding about the gazetteer.

I'd done all the hard work of changing the spellings, date formats etc so all I have to do is change the code for the pages you described and import my data using PHP admin

We ALSO make similar changes to tpl_account_edit_default.php (the file that registered users need to CHANGE their address later)

In version 1.5 it's in tpl_modules_address_book_details.php
