I suspect you've got a template that's trying to output a list of links without looping through the array of values like the default template does.

First noticed after installation with the addition of a new EZ page
i believe the problem is not so much the display of the menu but the saving of EZ pages.
i have changed the pages_title field in the ezpages table to the correct values and it displays OK. So that's a workround. However, when I edit and change the EZpage it overwrites this field with "array"
Okay, then if the problem is with saving after editing, then your PHP files are probably altered incorrectly. Not surprising if you've added something like a multilingual ezpages addon that's not properly installed.
