Google Chrome browser will not store zenid cookie on local server using IP address
If you are developing on a local server and so using an address such as 192.168 etc.etc. you may find that
- the zenid stays in the address as you navigate around the site
- if you have more than one language in the store it drops back to english on the home page
this is a Chrome-specific issue for local sites.
Supposedly this can be overridden by adding this switch to the executable call but it didn't work for me:
This is complained about here
but they have no intention of allowing it.
Hope this saves someone from wasting their time chasing the "problem"!
Stick with Firefox!
"Totally Zenned" my a*se!
