Dynamic Filter

I installed the mod as described, however I do not see the Admin -> Configuration -> Dynamic Filter pages to apply custom settings... Am I doing something wrong? I also see that there are no new files for the admin side, all files copied across go in the stores main directory. How would the admin side have a "Dynamic Filter" page this way?

I haven't used that mod, but there is at least one admin file in the 'new files' folder, so I would guess you didn't upload everything. There's also a SQL patch that you need to run.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

The admin file is for the installation of Zen Cart version 1.5.0, not the version I am running 1.3.8.a.
I have also uploaded the sql patch already.

Just a suggestion, but if I were you, I wouldn't be installing any more mods. I'd be upgrading to the much-more-secure version 1.5.0.

I'm really hoping I can get this to work on my site...great mod!

I have a very interesting problem with it. It works great for just one of my categories ("Bracelets"). Every other category on my site displays the filter correctly, but when any option is selected it returns a blank page.

Should clarify the non working categories:

It does look like my Brooch & Clip category is working, but can't figure out why some categories work and others do not.

Found the problem

I have Ceon URI Mapping installed but some of my categories were created pre URI Mapping and other post. Categories with a friendly URL worked with filter just fine. Those without, did not work. Just had to resave older categories and filter now works fine.

If the option name is made of 2 or more words (with space between), the results are: "There are no products to list in this category".

If I delete the space between the words in the option name, it filters correctly.
I've tried this in the Demo on clean 1.38a install.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

I'm not seeing Dynamic Filter in Admin -> Configuration either. How did you get it to work? Installation seemed fine, ran the sql patch, v 1.5.0. The filter works in the store. I've recently added Lightbox and Ceon URI Mapping, they appear in the Configuration list ok. thanks.
