Help with catagories

HI

I am totaly new to zen cart. I would like to have the catagories at the top of the standart template be in some sort of button to make them look better.

Can anyone please suggest where I can get some help doing this?

also I want to add a very small music file when people first come to the site.

you can use following addon Category Dressing .

it seems to be for version 1.38, but I think this will work for your version of zencart.

do NOT use music file . no one likes it , is annoying, and will make your site slow .

Follow Tony's advice... keep music OFF an eCommerce site... unless of course you are SELLING music.

It's cheap and tacky, and irritates MOST people. Just concentrate on selling your products. That's why people are there... if they want entertainment, they go to YouTube or Disney.

They have come to your site ONLY TO BUY SOMETHING, so don't annoy or distract them, or slow the site down... Take them to the products they want, and get them to checkout as quickly as they wish to...
