Strange characters in product description, can you help?

It isn't your charset it is just that one sub catagorie. find it and edit the name and discription or delete it.

Its not just that sub cat. I tried to edit it and delete it or making new one and still same problem

ANY ONE KNOW WHAT TO DO???

YES you are right all DB collation is in latin2_general_ci
what to do now?

Older versions of Zen Cart does not use UTF-8 by default.

You can follow this guide to make your own website UTF-8 compliant: http://www.srw2d.com/sites/default/file ... V1.3.8.pdf

Existing websites will need to go into PHPMYADMIN and change the collation of the database and tables to utf8_unicode_ci. Do the same for all of the columns in the tables that you need to be able to store UTF-8 encoded characters.

Or you can use the MySQL charset converter for Zen Cart by DrByte in the free downloads since the posted link seems to be invalid.
