Dear Zencart Team,
During "Le Pandemique de 2020" one of my goals is to understand the inner workings of ZenCart v1.5.7 I feel comfortable with web technologies, so my intention is to figure it out piece by piece.
Looking at the /includes/languages/english folder structure, I can see that the modules folder partially mirrors the /includes/modules folder. However here is what I don't get:
- why do /includes/languages/english/modules folders have a "classic" folder?
- why is there a "classic" folder by itself in /includes/languages/english/ ?
- why is there a "responsive_classic" folder by itself in /includes/languages/english/?
- why no "responsive_classic" folder under the various /includes/languages/english/modules folders?
- however /includes/languages/english/html_includes and /includes/languages/english/extra_definitions do have a "responsive_classic" folder?
Clearly there is some guiding principle here, but I'm failing to see it.
Is this to support modularity? Is there a document I can read? Can someone help?
Thank you all in advance for any reply,
WS
