Locked out

i am running the latest version if ZenCart and the system has locked me out due to the 90 day password change. How do I get back in?

I requested a password change but the system is not excepting it....

I'm confused. Zencart doesn't just cancel your admin password every 90 days. It prompts you to create a new one, then changes the password to whatever you enter there. Did you see that propmpt ?

yes, but when I went to change it, it kept denying it. So then I used the reset and that is not letting me in when I enter the new password

You can't use a new password that's similar to the old one. Did you try something completely different ?

went into SQL and changed it there

thats what I just did too after saying i didnt know how to do it and sending an email to the host to restore my site! *doh*

followed articles to run the sql,
also changed sql data for the admin password,
and restored with old backup files.

Still I can't log in with my admin password.

Reset password mailed out does not let me in.

What else I can try ?

Any suggestions ?
there is some changes with open source code, I can't install fresh new.
