adjust the width of side box of side column

hello all,
I'm trying to adjust the width of the left column and left box to make them align with the left side of my page width of mainwrapper is 900px and the width of centercolumn is 640px)
My site now looks like this.
I would like to create the effect that there is a gap between the side box and mainwrapper (which is already the case now) however the righthand side of mainwrapper is aligned with the righthand side of the categories header and the lefthand side of side box is aligned with the lefthand side of the categories header.
Now my "Column Width - Left Boxes" is 210px and "Column Width - Left" is 260px.
Please give some advice on this issue..I've been modifying it for so many times but still cant figure out. thank you for your help!

I am not exactly sure what it is you are trying to achieve. From looking at your site I guess you want the left side boxes to vertically align with the left top.

You could try this in your stylesheet.css

#navColumnOneWrapper {margin-left: -0em;}

actually I'm trying to make the left column align with the left side of my categories header (red line in the picture below)

hmm, I did try but the space between the mainwrapper and the left side of the explorer window is gone like this-

I would like to keep that space and make the left box align with the left side of the categories headers...thanks!

and remove:
#navColumnOneWrapper,

to look like this:

#navColumnTwoWrapper, #mainWrapper {
margin: auto;
background-color:'#000000';
}
